Our Mission

We aim to create young disciples of Christ, encourage Biblical literacy, and serve the local community. We hope that all children that come through our program will know the love of God and gain a love of the Bible. We hope that all families that participate in our program will feel supported in teaching their child(ren) about Biblical values and be served by the Church.

Our Story

New Beginnings Institute launched in the 2021–22 school year with just two small, mixed-age preschool classes, and a big vision. That first summer, we introduced a short two-week Summer Camp, and from there, the Lord continued to grow and bless our efforts. Today, we serve over 60 students across six classes with the support of 18 dedicated staff members.

What began as a simple preschool ministry has since expanded to include a full-scale Summer Camp with extended hours, diverse weekly themes, and more availability for families. We’ve also added our Homeschool Support Program, coming alongside families in their unique educational journeys.

This program was born out of a desire to serve the growing number of young families in our community—especially those seeking quality education at an affordable price. We aim to offer a meaningful alternative to full-time daycare by providing enriching instruction, spiritual guidance, and compassionate care without the high cost.

New Beginnings Institute is a ministry of New Beginnings Community Church, and we’re deeply thankful for the church’s faithful support. Meet the Team

Our incredible team of teachers, assistants, and floaters bring a wide range of experience, education, and enthusiasm to the classroom each day. Every preschool class is led by a dedicated teacher and assistant who foster learning, play, and growth. Additional support staff help with transitions, outdoor play, and provide a safe, loving environment throughout the day. Together, they form the heart of our program—committed to nurturing each child with joy and purpose.

Elder of Discipleship

Bruce Sullivan

As a ministry of New Beginnings Community Church, our program is led under the guidance of the church elders. Bruce brings wisdom and oversight to the program, drawing from his experience in church leadership, his role as a grandfather to 13, and his partnership with his wife, a local elementary school teacher. His steady leadership and heart for discipleship help keep our program grounded in faith and focused on spiritual growth.

Meagan Wullschleger

With over a decade of experience in education, Meagan is passionate about equipping children and families to thrive. As a busy mom herself, she understands the needs of modern families and works to build a ministry that is both enriching and supportive. After earning her Master’s degree in Education, Meagan served in Christian schools, camps, and nonprofit ministries, gaining a wide range of experience with students of all ages. At New Beginnings, she brings fresh, engaging content to our classrooms and nurtures the professional development of our staff.

Institute Assistant Director

Hannah Martin

Hannah’s journey with our program began as a parent—an experience that inspired her to join our staff. As both a foster parent and a homeschool mom, she brings a deep understanding of diverse family needs and a heart for helping others. Hannah plays a key role in welcoming new families during enrollment and coordinates our many events throughout the year. Her background in marketing and community outreach helps expand the impact of our ministry while strengthening the connection between school and home.

Institute Assistant Director of Summer Camp

Allison Rowlands

Allison serves as our Pre-K4 teacher during the school year and leads our Summer Camp program with energy and creativity. Her background in education, library programming, and event planning shines through in her imaginative themes and hands-on activities. Campers love her enthusiasm, and families appreciate her intentional, joy-filled approach. A transplant from a similar preschool program elsewhere in the state, Allison continues to bless our community with her dedication and love for learning.
