Preschool FAQ's

For students ages 0–5 enrolled in our weekday morning Preschool Program

Can we tour the program?
Yes! We offer tours by appointment on Thursdays and Fridays between 9:00–11:00 AM. Call us at 910-754-2485 to schedule.

What are the potty-training requirements?

  • Babies (0–1 year): Diapers are welcome!

  • Toddlers: We start with diapers and transition to pull-ups as students progress.

  • Preschool (3+): Full potty training is required. While we help with accidents, hand washing, and reminders, children must be able to use the bathroom independently. Our facilities do not accommodate pull-ups in this age group.

How is class placement decided?
We follow the public school cutoff of August 31 for age placement. This keeps students on track with their future Kindergarten class. Placement tests are available for children near the cutoff.

Is there availability for the 2025–26 school year?
Currently, we are on a waitlist. Openings often arise over the summer. To be added, complete our [registration form] and join the list!

Are sibling discounts offered?
Yes!

  • 25% off for the second sibling

  • 75% off for the third sibling
Families also enrolled in the Homeschool Support Program may be eligible for a greater discount. Contact us for details.

How is tuition paid?
Monthly tuition is invoiced through our app. You can pay via card through the app, or bring cash/check to the office.

What are staff qualifications?
Our team includes experienced educators, all of whom:

  • Have education or experience in early childhood

  • Pass background checks

  • Are CPR/AED/First Aid certified

  • Participate in professional development throughout the year

How do I communicate with my child’s teacher?
We use a parent communication app for daily updates, photos, and messaging. Administrators are also available via phone or email.

What if someone else needs to pick up my child?
You can authorize pickups through our app. Each approved adult receives a unique PIN for secure sign-out. You can update permissions at any time.

Do you offer full-time care?
Not at this time. Our programs are mornings only, with the exception of two weeks of full-day Summer Camp.

Is extended care available?

Yes! Morning care is offered from 7:30–8:30 AM for an additional $30/week. You can select this option during registration.

How do you support neurodivergent learners?
We strive to accommodate every child’s unique learning style. We partner with local service providers (like speech therapy) and maintain open communication with families. In some cases, we may suggest outside evaluations or services that go beyond our program's scope.

Can differently-abled children enroll?
Absolutely! We welcome students of all abilities. Depending on needs, we may suggest additional support such as a one-on-one aide, or—when appropriate—recommend a program better suited to your child. We believe in celebrating the diversity of God’s Kingdom.

Homeschool Support FAQs

For K–3 students participating in our Homeschool Support Program

What is the Homeschool Support Program?
Our half-day Homeschool Support Program provides academic instruction and enrichment for homeschooled students. We come alongside families to supplement learning in phonics, writing, math, and more — without replacing your home curriculum.

What ages or grades are eligible?
Our academic classes are designed for students in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, with some enrichment opportunities open to a broader age range. We also host Community Days with Classical Conversations for families who are part of that program.

How many days per week is the program?
We offer multiple schedule options so families can choose what works best. Most students attend 2–3 days per week, depending on class availability and placement.

What curriculum do you use?
We use a combination of trusted resources and hands-on learning tools that complement a variety of homeschool methods. Our phonics and math support aligns well with popular homeschool curricula and is designed to strengthen foundational skills.

Will you assign grades or assessments?
We provide feedback and progress monitoring but do not issue formal grades. Our goal is to support mastery and confidence in core academic areas. Families are encouraged to integrate what we teach into their broader homeschool portfolios.

Do I have to be enrolled in the preschool to join the Homeschool Support Program?
No. The Homeschool Support Program is a separate offering and does not require enrollment in our preschool classes.

Is this a drop-off program?
Yes. Students are dropped off and remain with our trained staff for the duration of the program. We offer a secure check-in/out system through our app and communicate with families regularly.

What about socialization?
We intentionally build in opportunities for students to connect, play, and work together in group settings. From recess and group projects to field trips and special events, we create a strong sense of community for both kids and parents.

Do you offer any enrichment classes?
Yes! We offer rotating enrichment classes that may include art, STEM, music, Bible, and more. These are built into the Homeschool Support schedule and provide creative outlets for student learning.

Is there a sibling discount if I have children in both Preschool and Homeschool Support?
Yes! Families with students enrolled in both programs may qualify for an increased sibling discount. Contact us for details based on your family’s setup.

Can my child join mid-year?
Enrollment mid-year is possible depending on space and class dynamics. We encourage families to reach out for availability and to schedule a consultation to determine placement.
